The memorial commemorates a historic event in the history of Wilmington. 2005-2007 COMMISSION, Rockland County Art In Public Places Program, New York. To create two 16ft.h stainless steel free standing sculptures for the city of Spring Valley New York. 2004 COMMISSION, Alaska State Council on the Arts. To create a 14ft.h x 14ft.w wood and mixed media wall relief sculpture for the Alaska Psychiatric Institute in Anchorage Alaska 2002 COMMISSION, Prince Georges County Art in Public Places Program. To create a monumental stainless steel free standing sculpture with seating for the Bunker Hill fire station in Mt. Rainer Maryland. 2002 COMMISSION, Hartsfield Atlanta International Airport. Atlanta, Georgia. To create a wood relief sculpture for the Immigrations corridor on Concourse E. 2001 COMMISSION, 1898 Memorial Foundation, Wilmington, North Carolina. To create a monumental environmental sculpture memorial park to commemorate the coup d’ etat/race riot of 1898. seating for the college’s campus. 1995/96 COMMISSION, Atlanta Committee for the Olympic Games. To create a monumental bronze sculpture for an Olympic stadium community in Atlanta, Georgia in conjunction with the 1996 Olympic Games. 1996 COMMISSION, Baltimore City College High School, Baltimore, Maryland. Created a 20ft.h x 12ft.w x 6ft.d steel sculpture which involved collaboration with engineers, contractors and architects. 1995 COMMISSION, Morehouse College, Atlanta Georgia. To design and carve a ceremonial throne to be occupied by the new President of Morehouse College during the colleges 1996 inauguration ceremonies.1995 GRANT AWARD, City of Atlanta Bureau of Cultural Affairs, Atlanta, Georgia.
